High Pressure

In this ongoing project I continue to explore the modern high density neighborhoods in the Greater Vancouver area.

Featured Series

Canadian Prairies

The Canadian prairies were settled in the early 1900’s and My grandmother arrived when she was 4 from Ukraine. As a child family trips in small towns dotted across the prairies were the norm. Now that I’m living out west, time is precious when I get to return. I have found a fascination in exploring these small towns that used to hold so much pride.

Sea to Sky

The Sea to Sky highway connects Vancouver to Squamish traversing steep mountain walls. It’s easy to take the scenery for granted as you coast down the highway. This series aims to explore the new and legacy infrastructure that connects us.

Recent Work

  • East Vancouver

Living in East Vancouver is the great Love/Hate of my life. It’s currently called home living with my Wife and Daughter in Strathcona . We are sandwiched between a drug crisis on one side and an industrial neighbourhood on the other. I’m documenting this community in flux, for better or worse.

  • A Soft Degrade

This series started in the early 2000’s exploring the old abandoned farm houses around Medicine Hat. Although the imagery has moved on from the farmlands, I continue to enjoy exploring the things that used to be.

  • Landscapes

I generally like working with an overarching story. However this is a collection of the landscape photos that fit in between. All of these images were shot over a 10 year period.

My pursuit of photography has gone through many stages of my life. It’s slowly been changing with me as my relationship with the world around me continues to evolve. Have a look at the path that has brought me here.
